  • Rules for Submission
We can’t accept anything that isn’t family-friendly. If we can’t show it on TV, we can’t show it here. No profanity, no nudity, etc. If you’ve got something that’s a little dark but otherwise ok, we reserve the right to put a disclaimer on it.

Now that the nasty bit is out of the way, let’s move on.

We’d love to have some sort of description with each piece. You can let us know how you came up with the idea, how it was created, why you titled it “Yarn Pie” when it’s clearly a picture of a grain silo… you get the idea. It’s always nice to have some extra info on each piece.

We are completely cool with it if you want to include contact info to get business or feedback for your art. Just include that info when you submit, and it will be posted along with your work. If you want to remain anonymous, that’s cool too. Again, let us know when you submit. No contact info of any kind will be associated with your piece.

Poems and short stories should be submitted as text or Word files. Please keep the word count at around 2,000 or less so we can get them through the posting process faster.

All graphics (photography, pics of paintings, crafts, digital artwork, etc.) should be sent as a .jpeg file. We can work with other formats if necessary, but help us out with this if at all possible. The files can’t be larger than 500 pixels in width and 1,500 pixels in height. That translates to 7 inches by 21 inches if you’re working in 72 dpi. If you can’t size the file yourself (or aren’t really sure what we’re talking about) just send it anyway. We’ll size it for you. Those of you who can, please do it yourselves. You’ll earn a special place in our hearts.

All submissions should be sent as attachments in an email to arthouse@kbtv4.tv. Please put “Submission” in the subject line.

    And yes, this is free.

Simple enough, right? Creating art is the hard part. Getting it displayed shouldn’t be.

    Welcome to the ArtHouse.
