A young man is on the hunt for a family to call his own. The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is under construction and getting ready for a new exhibit, at the same time one boy hopes to build a new life.

I pulled some strings and got Hunter, a future cartoonist, a sneak peek at their new exhibit "Things With Wings," I was hoping the shy teenager would open up about his hunt for a "forever family."

Art became an outlet for Hunter after he lost his grandmother. She was the only family member who had taken him in.

"She died so I had to move. I'm not sure how many places. At-least five," he told me.

Those moves even spanned out of state.

"What was it like having to move so many times?" I asked. "I met a lot of people and learned so many things about myself," Hunter replied.

But through it all, the self-knowing 14-year-old still has hope of finding a forever family.

Hunter says he wants his new family to be nice, understanding, and have children who loves him just as much as his new parents will.
