Reported by: Ericka English Wednesday, Sep 10, 2008 @05:11pm CDT For the past three or four years 10-year-old Tristian and Jonathan who's four, have been forced to depend on one another in foster care. But there are no complaints about their foster mom.
"She's a good mom," Tristian said. However, the boys would like a permanent home, with a parent or parents to take care of them forever. Tristian adds, "I'd like a parent that would understand and have fun with their child. Not just stay at home all of the time." These siblings are definitely not couch potatoes. "Sometimes we play with cars in our room. Sometimes we just lay down and watch TV or go outside." With football and basketball being their favorite sports, Tristian didn't shy away from giving me a quick Foosball lesson. He says his favorite subject is Science because he likes doing experiments While Jonathan can't stop talking about his dream job. "I want to be a policeman." And with each passing day, the boys know they are one step closer to finding a "forever family." If you have room in your heart for Tristian and Jonathan, call The Department of Family and Protective Services at (409) 951 - 3351. |
