  • 1/28 Thomas

Nine-year-old Thomas is well beyond his years. He's been in foster care for almost a year and has chosen to look on the bright side of not having a "forever family." He looks forward to going to camp each summer where he can get the closeness of a family from other children.

Thomas also looks forward to school where he can study his favorite subjects, computer lab and math.

Even more so, Thomas can't wait to have a "forever family," preferably one who believes in a higher power.

"I want them to go to church because I haven't been in a long time," he said.

He also wants someone who can teach him about different cultures and traditions.

He adds, "I also want them to celebrate Red Ribbon week, and Hanukkah because I never got to see what Hanukkah is."

While keeling an open mind, he's also keeping an open heart for who ever will take him in.
