You may remember this little guy. One year and a hair cut later, 12-year-old Trey is still searching for a "forever family." He admits times have been hard.

"Every now and then I think about doing stuff that helps me calm down during my serious breakdowns when I get lonely and sad," said Trey.

Instead of put put, this time we did some art to take his mind off of his troubles.

The future environmentalist has turned his love for science into a love for Mother Earth. He's setting his sights on saving the planet.

He replies, "I really want to keep recycling but some people just keep throwing stuff away."

He also really wants and needs a family.

He said, "I would like a dad who likes to go hunting and a mom who really likes to cook."

But if you can't cook, he'll settle for his favorite foods which are hamburgers and pizza.

He says younger brothers and sister would finish his picture of a family.

"I would teach them how to fish and play sports," he said.

Like his favorite sports, basketball, baseball and sometime football.

"I don't like tackle football," he adds.

If you have room in your heart for Trey, call the Department of Family and Protective Services at (409) 951-3351.
