    Chief Meteorologist.
I was born and raised right here in Southeast Texas; in Port Arthur.
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and went right into broadcasting with my first job being a disc jockey at local radio station KHYS. At the same time, I started working at NBC 4 as a station announcer in 1980. After a few other business ventures, I returned to the news department at Hometown News NBC 4 as the weekend weathercaster. I attended Mississippi State University through correspondence and received my certificate in Broadcast Meteorology. After 3 months of weekend forecasting, I was moved to the expanded morning show at Hometown News NBC 4 as co-host and weather forecaster. After 4 years, and a lot of coffee, I was promoted to the chief meteorologist position, heading up the finest weather department in the market at KBTV, Fox 4. I'm proud to have hosted and emceed at just about every event here in Southeast Texas including, Cavoilcade, Shrimpfest, Mardi Gras, and many social and civic events. I'm also proud to serve on the board of directors for Girls Haven, The Ehrhart School of Fine Arts and Athletics, Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas and others.I enjoy talking to students and mentoring to the underprivileged . I attend Infant Jesus Church in Lumberton. I like all kinds of music, especially jazz; both listening and playing. I spend my spare time dancing, cooking, and trying to keep up with my daughter Kelli on computer skills. If that wern't enough, every Sunday morning from 7 to 10 a.m., I host the Cajun Express on KLVI AM 560. the largest cajun radio show in the country. I have a beautiful daughter Kelli, a brand new, and handsome baby boy Parker, a sister that's too wonderful, and a couple of ugly brothers.
