Reported by: Ericka English Wednesday, Feb 25, 2009 @11:53am CST Teranni, 13, and Sanford, 12, have been without a family for about five years. They were separated from their other two siblings. That's why wherever they go, they want to stay together.
"She's like the only family I have left, almost," said Sanford. His sister's love makes him feel secure. Sanford add,s " [She] helps me and protects me." "I am over protective," Teranni responded. Sanford loves reading and science. Both he and his sister want to work with animals when they grow up. "I want to be a zoo keeper, microbiologist, aquarium keeper, a vet, a scientists that discovers dinosaur bones, and a pet shop owner," he said. Texas History is Teranni's favorite subject. "I like the teacher," she said. Their new parents must be as equally enthused about their education as they are. Teranni adds, "nice people who won't hurt us." They don't mind having other brothers and sisters. However, they still want to be able to see their biological siblings. Making their dream of having a family, a reality.
