I am happy to be back at home and have the opportunity to start my journalism career at KBTV 4. I joined the KBTV 4 team in January 2008 after graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at UNT I had the opportunity to report and anchor for the Lone Star Emmy nominated NTTV Nightly News. I first realized I had passion for news while in high school in my video broadcasting class at Clifton J. Ozen Magnet High School. In that class I had the opportunity to anchor and report on stories that aired on Cable Channel 7. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and staying up to date on current events. As a native Southeast Texan I take pride in informing and bringing the news to my hometown.
