Although this six foot tall, 14-year-old can fill his size 11 shoes, he needs parents to fill an immeasurable void in his life.

"I’ve been kind of lonely," Joseph said while taking a stroll around a splash park in Groves.

Joseph has been in foster care for five years, and is ready for a positive change.

"I want a nice family [with younger] brothers and sisters,” he adds.

Considering his height, if you think basketball is his favorite sport, you're mistaking.

I continued, "I like to play football, sometimes basketball and video games."

When in interviewed Joseph over a year ago, it was hard to get him out of his shell.

Now, this high school student is looking to spread his wings.

"When you go to high school you get the ability to do more stuff."

After graduation from High School, Joseph plans to attend Lamar University. He wants to prove, the sky is the limit for other kids like him.

If you have room for Joseph in your heart, call the Department of Family and Protective Services at 409-951-3351.
