Three things were familiar to me when I moved to Southeast Texas from the Mobile-Pensacola area:  Humidity, hot summers, and hurricane threats.  This feels like home already! I joined the Fox 4 News team in November of 2007.  I anchor the 4 and 9 o’clock newscasts. I also report every week on ways to manage your finances in Money Matters.
 
Before coming to fox 4 I worked for another Fox affilate in Mobile, AL as a general assignment reporter and Fill-in Anchor.  From Mobile, I was able to cover several major hurricanes including Hurricane Ivan that devastated the Pensacola area. 
 
 
My job combines everything I love: learning something new and interesting every day, passing along helpful information to viewers, and of course, talking.
 
I graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  While in Mobile, I earned a masters degree in Public and Corporate Communication from the University of South Alabama. 

I am a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Presidents of the Southeast Texas Association of Black Journalists, Southeast Texas Press Club, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 
 
In my spare time I enjoy working out, singing, and spending time with my husband and three children.
