activity, indoors.
“I decided to try a spin class one day
just to get out of the ordinary cardio. I used to run a lot. I started doing spin and I really enjoy it. I
enjoy all the calories you burn in 45 minutes and the different routines,” said
Krawlj. The number of calories burned is
something to get excited about. “As a female, I usually burn about 600-700
calories in a class. Then again, it depends on your weight. Men can burn up to
1000 calories. It depends on how hard your work,” she said. Ernest Landry says the fast pace makes
it easier to get a good workout. “It’s more upbeat. The pace is high and
you get more out of it. You get more cardio endurance than on a bike when you
are mostly on your own. The instructor was great,” he said. |
