He wants to improve as a player but is also nursing an injury. Chad says that's the perfect candidate for a personal trainer. "If you hurt your knee you don't just avoid training it, but you don't make it worse. Training will make it better but you have to do it the right way," said Harmon. Though athletes train with their teams regularly, Chad says there are benefits to have individualized training. "You want to concentrate on that sport and train the exercises that are specific to that sport. Don't waste time training on something that's not going to be beneficial to that sport," he said. |
