The movie, "Noble Things", had a huge showing for its premiere in Southeast Texas.

It debuted locally at Hollywood Theaters in Beaumont.

During it's opening weekend, it was #1 at the Hollywood Theaters' box office. It crushed the competition. The movie's run at Hollywood has been extended through November 12th.

The majority of the movie was filmed in Southeast Texas.

Its writer, director and main actor, Brett Moses, is from Vidor. The movie also has other local talent including country star, Tracy Byrd, and Jody Nolan.

Another famous Southeast Texas country star, Clay Walker, does the soundtrack and is an producer.

The movie tells the story of a country star, who returns to his hometown to right some wrongs.
