Orange County authorities have released the autopsy results of a Bridge City woman who was found dead Sunday morning.

Authorities say 42-year-old Laura Russell was found in a ditch on Cajun Way.

Autopsy results show there was no signs of foul play and ruled the preliminary cause of death as accidental due to drowning.

Authorities say the exact cause of death will be determined once the toxicology report is received from the lab.

Russell and her husband got into an argument Saturday night.

The two were coming home from a party and Laura Russell got out of the car and started walking down Cajun Way in Orangefield.

Police say Russell's husband drove home, but went back to check on her Sunday morning.

He found her in the ditch on Cajun Way.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
