Reported by: Angel San Juan/Scott Price Monday, Nov 2, 2009 @06:31pm CST An accident involving two pick-up trucks and a Hamshire-Fannett school bus has sent two people to the hospital.
The accident happened on Highway 365 at Labelle Road around 6:00 p.m. Chief Charles Sonnier with the Labelle-Fannett Fire Department says it looks like one pick-up and the school bus hit almost head-on. The bus ended up in a ditch. The second pickup was behind the bus, and clipped it. He says two people were hurt. One was the driver of the school bus, the other was a driver of one of the trucks. Their injuries are not life-threatening. Three kids were on the bus, but were not injured. Traffic is backed up on Highway 365 We have a crew on the scene, and will have more tonight after the game. |
