Beaumont police say someone robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Beaumont Tuesday morning.

It happened shortly after 10:00.

The bank is located at 595 I-H 10 North, at Calder. It's next to Olive Garden Restaurant.

Bank customer Donald Cobb witnessed the robbery. Cobb says he was about 10 feet away from the robber. He says the man came in waving a gun.

Cobb says the robber wasn't inside for even a minute. He says the man took the money and fled on foot. 

Police and the K-9 unit searched the area around the bank, but couldn't find the man.
