Reported by: News Staff Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @02:43pm CST The Port Arthur Health Authority, Dr. William George, was the first person in Port Arthur to get an H1N1 vaccine.
The city's health department started administering the vaccines Tuesday morning. The city received 1,200 doses. The first 200 are allotted for health care personnel and first responders. Today 46 vaccines have been given. After health care workers and first responders get their doses, then the remaining ones will be given to those people who go to the health department.
