    Reported by: Angel San Juan

    Thursday, Nov 5, 2009 @12:23am CST

Scary moments Wednesday night at a family-owned convenience store in Bevil Oaks.

Authorities arrested two men and a woman for stealing about $150 worth of cigarettes and beer from Kings Super Mart.

The store is on Highway 105.

The owners say one of the men had a gun.

A wrecker driver from Independent Towing was inside the store.

He chased after the suspects' car.

He says shots were fired during the chase.

Authorities finally caught up with the car on the Eastex Freeway, near the Lucas exit.

They say the two men and the woman had a three-year-old boy with them.

    He was the woman's son.

Child Protective Services took custody of the boy.

The crime left the store owners on edge.

Janie King told Fox 4, "I'm scared, because Bevil Oaks is always so quiet. Not anymore. More and more is coming this way. "

Investigators found no evidence of shots being fired, but they did find a handgun in the suspects' car.

Authorities say the suspects are from Kinder, Louisiana.

CPS is planning to place the child with his grandparents in Conroe.
