The former director of Communities In Schools has pleaded guilty to third degree felony theft.

Vernon Dunn admits to stealing $97,000 from the organization.

The 53-year-old faces sentencing on December 7th in District Judge Layne Walker's court.

Prosecutors believe he'll ask for probation, with the opportunity to pay back the money.

But he could face up to ten years in prison.

Prosecutors have not decided what they'll recommend to the judge.
