The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints hosted a public open house Saturday.

The church said they wanted the public to have the opportunity to tour the interior of a local Mormon Chapel.

That's why they opened their chapel on Weaver Drive in Beaumont.

There were interactive exhibits on display throughout the building, and tour guides to answer any questions.

The congregation had resources available to families, including a family history center.

Children were welcome and refreshments were served.
