Green wine is here, but it isn't a different color.

Vineyard owners are using eco-friendly ideas to save on expenses.

Black Ankle Winery has started going green with it's new tasting room.

The building was made of locally milled wood, using straw bales for insulation.

That alone could save 75% on heating and cooling costs.

Black Ankle's owners also saved big on labor. In exchange for hard work, volunteers learned how to build.

The reward is a vineyard in a much cleaner environment.

The winery hopes that pays off in better wine and a better bottom line.

Buildings use 40% to 50% of the energy consumed in the United States.
