1. You must have JAVA 2 Platform 1.5.0 installed onto your computer in order to view our radar. To install JAVA 2 go click here: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp to get a free up to date install. Select the first download option JDK5.0 UPDATE 12 NETBEANS.

2. After installing Java 2 Platform, you must restart your computer. After you restart the computer, go to your start menu and select control panel. In the control panel, you will see add/remove software, select this icon. Be sure to select the old icon for JAVA 1, not the new icon, which is a BLUE COFFEE CUP. After selecting the JAVA 1 icon, hit the remove button, then hit OK. This will make your computer access the new Java 2 Platform. Now try to view the weather radar using the new Java 2. IF ONLY A WHITE BOX APPEARS, RIGHT CLICK INSIDE OF THAT BOX, THEN SELECT REFRESH. IT WILL BEGIN TO RUN JAVA.

3. If you already have JAVA 2 Platform and can not view the radar image, you must adjust your settings in control panel:

Go to your Start menu; then select Control Panel.  Find your Java icon in control panel. Select it, then go to the Temporary Internet Files (settings) icon at the bottom of the new window. Next select the (Delete Files..) button. This will clean your system of all old internet files that your computer automatically stores. After these steps have been completed, select OK however many times needed to get you back to the Control Panel. Now try the web address again www.setxhomepage.com
